Choose a Squad or a shift that fits your schedule—whether you give an hour or more,
you’ll be part of what makes the adventure happen.
There are opportunities for every ability and experience level, from welcoming guests and helping with activities to moving equipment and keeping the site running smoothly.
New to the SCA or attending War of the Rams for the first time? Volunteering is one of the best ways to meet people, become part of the community, and feel the hospitality WotR is know for.

Gate Shifts: Join the Gate Squad: sign-up Link HereThank You! Gate Steward Lord Aegelmaere Redmund
Site Set-up: Be a part of the Set-up Squad and get an Early-On Pass to site by volunteering 4 hours of help with a Set-up Squad. MUST be Pre-Registered to get Early-On.
Sign up on the SignUpGenius Link for the Set Squad. Complete 4 volunteer hours. Border Guard shifts that begin after gate closes qualify for getting on site earlier Wednesday.
Border Guards: Sign-up link coming soon. Sign-up for Wednesday late afternoon or Wednesday night to get Early-On! Shift through-out the whole event.
Hydration/Water Bearing: Sign-up Links closer to the event.
Sanitation Squad: Help keep our 25 Porta-Potties and 10 ADA Porta-Potties clean and stocked.
